Cleaning gutters, second storey cladding, truck roofs and shed walls from the ground instead of off a ladder. Telescopic wands extend from about 2.7 m out to 7.3 m in aluminium, fibreglass or carbon fibre, and there are fixed long wands at 2.8 m and 5.5 m if you always work at one height. Plus the pole locks, adaptors and belt kit that go with them. All current stock.

Telescopic wands get returned as faulty more than anything else we sell, and it is nearly always the pole lock rather than the wand. The locks are a friction cam and they need to be clean and dry to grip. Wash water carrying detergent gets into the lock, the residue makes the cam slip, and the section drops mid-job - which reads like a broken wand but is a five minute clean. Rinse the poles with fresh water and let them dry extended, not collapsed. The other thing: never carry a wand extended, and never let go of it under pressure at full reach. There is real recoil at the tip, and a 7 m wand acting as a lever will dislocate a shoulder. Use the belt kit on anything above about four metres. And if you are near powerlines, use fibreglass and check your clearances - this is the one job on a wash site that actually kills people.
