
Chemical will not draw through a high pressure nozzle. The orifice is too small, the pressure never drops, and the injector sits there doing nothing - which is why so many people decide their foamer is faulty when it is the nozzle. Soaper nozzles have a deliberately larger orifice so pressure falls at the head and the injector can pull. Fan angles from 15 to 65 degrees, brass and stainless, screw-on and quick connect. If your chemical will not draw, work through it in this order and you will find it every time. First, the nozzle - fit the soaper and see. Second, the injector filter, which is a small strainer in the chemical line and is nearly always blocked with dried detergent because nobody flushes it. Third, the chemical itself: thick truck wash out of a cold shed in July will not lift up a metre of clear line no matter what nozzle you fit, so dilute it or warm it. Only after all three should you suspect the injector. The other thing worth knowing is dwell time. Chemical works by sitting on the surface, not by being blasted at it, so put it on with the soaper at low pressure, walk away for the time on the label, then come back with the pressure nozzle. Operators who try to soap and rinse in one pass with a pressure nozzle use three times the chemical and get a worse result.
