Two complete assemblies that each do a specific job. A pneumatic hoist blocking valve with emergency release for tipper bodies, and a regenerative valve that makes a ram extend faster by feeding rod-side oil back to the bore side.
Ways to buy:
| Part number | Description | Price inc GST |
| LMB-HJK02011 | Pneumatic hoist valve with emergency release - 1" BSPP, 210 bar, 5.5 bar air | $430.40 |
| LYDEC-LHN-AW | Regenerative valve assembly, aluminium - 3/4" BSPP, 95 L/min, 210 bar, 70-280 bar adjustable | $456.38 |
A normally closed pneumatic cartridge valve assembly with 1″ BSPP ports, rated 210 bar and operated by 5.5 bar air. This is the tipper blocking valve: air on to raise or lower, air off and the body stays where it is. The emergency release lets a truck with no air still be brought down safely.
A regen valve routes rod-side oil back into the bore side on extend, so a ram runs out faster than the pump alone could push it – at reduced force. Splitters, presses and compactors use them to cut cycle time. 95 L/min, 210 bar, 3/4″ BSPP, adjustable 70 to 280 bar.
Timalco also list this hoist valve in 70 L/min and 3/4″ BSPP variants. We are confirming part numbers and pricing with the manufacturer before listing those – call us in the meantime and we will source one.
On a tipper hoist valve the emergency release is the whole point – make sure whoever drives the truck knows where it is and has actually tried it, because the day it matters is the day the air has failed and the body is up. Keep the air supply clean and dry: a pneumatic pilot with water in the line will freeze on a cold morning and the valve will not shift. On regen circuits, remember you are trading force for speed – a ram in regeneration only produces the force of the annulus area difference, so a splitter that flies out in regen will stall on a hard log and has to drop out of regen to finish the split. Make that changeover happen on pressure, not on a timer, or you will get a machine that sometimes stalls and sometimes does not, which is far harder to diagnose than one that never works.
