What is in the box

• The pump matters more than the engine. An axial pump is fine for short bursts; a triplex plunger pump is what you want if the machine runs for an hour at a time, and it is rebuildable when it eventually wears.
• These will draw from a tank or a drum as well as a tap, which is half the reason to own one - but check the suction requirements for the model you pick.
• Never run a petrol machine in a shed, a container or an enclosed wash bay. Carbon monoxide is not something you get a second chance with.
• Do not leave the gun closed and the engine running for long stretches. Water in bypass heats up fast and cooks the pump seals.
