Thread Standards
- ORFS Tube Nut – the nut half of an O-ring face seal tube connection. It carries no seal itself – it clamps the flanged tube end against the mating face where the O-ring does the sealing.
How to Choose
- This is a spare part, sold on its own so a damaged one does not mean replacing the whole assembly.
- The nut carries no seal. The O-ring in the mating face does the sealing.
- Check whether the assembly is standard or light series before ordering.
Technicians Advice
A damaged nut does not mean a new tube. If the flange on the tube end is sound and the face is unmarked, a new nut puts the assembly straight back into service.
