ORFS Male x ORFS Male 90° Compact Elbow

Male-to-male ORFS at 90°, for joining two swivel-nut hose ends or turning a line between two ORFS females. Two flat faces, two O-rings, nothing that frets loose.

Thread Standards

• ORFS Male – SAE J1453 O-ring face seal. It seals on an O-ring sitting in the flat face groove, never on the thread.

How to Choose

• Both ends need an ORFS swivel female or female port to land on.
• Match the flat face diameter at each end - unequal male-to-male ORFS elbows are stocked.
• Both O-rings must be present. A missing one will not seal at any torque.

Technicians Advice

Two faces means two O-rings to lose. Check both before you start, and keep the faces capped until fitting. A scratch across a flat face is harder to spot than a damaged cone and just as fatal to the joint.

• ORFS Male – High-pressure, high-vibration circuits on late-model excavators, drill rigs, crushers and forestry gear.

• ORFS Male – SAE J1453 / ISO 8434-3 O-ring face seal. Parker call this series Seal-Lok. Also written ORFS or flat face.
