Two ORFS male ports and one ORFS swivel female. Lets a hose come off the tee without being wound up as it is tightened.

Thread Standards

• ORFS Male – SAE J1453 O-ring face seal. It seals on an O-ring sitting in the flat face groove, never on the thread.
• ORFS Swivel Female – SAE J1453 O-ring face seal. It clamps down onto the male flat face O-ring and swivels for alignment.

How to Choose

• The swivel female turns as you tighten, so the hose on that leg is never twisted.
• All three ports seal on an O-ring in a flat face. No sealant anywhere.
• Work to the dash size on the hose rather than the thread size.

Technicians Advice

Three soft seals in one part. Check every groove and ring on the bench, and fit the swivel leg last so the hose can be routed properly before it is pulled up.

Where You’ll Find It

• ORFS Male – High-pressure, high-vibration circuits on late-model excavators, drill rigs, crushers and forestry gear.
• ORFS Swivel Female – Hose ends on modern high-pressure plant where a cone joint would fret loose under vibration.
