For workshops that crimp their own microbore test hoses: the full MiniPress DN2 fitting range, the same components Hydraulic.Online uses in our made-up assemblies. M16x2 test coupling nuts, metric DKOL/DKOS 24° cone, BSPP 60° cone swivels, BSPP/BSPT gauge fittings, JIC 74° and ORFS females — straight, 45° and 90° where the factory makes them, plus stainless versions of the common sizes. All crimp onto DN2 (2mm bore) micro hose with the standard ferrule.

How to choose
- The M16x2 female nut (31TTN series) is the standard test-hose end — it is what screws onto a test point.
- DKOL = metric light series 24° cone, DKOS = metric heavy; match the tube fitting on your machine.
- Gauge fittings (36 series) put a BSPP gauge thread straight on the hose end; 60° cone swivels (38 series) suit BSP adaptors.
- Every hose end needs a ferrule — order them with the hose on the DN2 hose listing.
Technicians Advice
Microbore crimping is its own trade: the DN2 ferrule wants a proper microhose crimp die, not the 2-wire die on the corner of your bench — an under-crimped test hose lets go at 400 bar right beside someone's face, and an over-crimp necks the 2mm bore shut so the gauge reads slow or not at all. Cut the hose square with a fine blade (never side cutters — they oval the bore), push the fitting home to the stop before crimping, and test every assembly to working pressure before it goes on a machine. If you are making fewer than a handful a year, our made-up assemblies are cheaper than the die set.
