Three light series metric 24° cone male ports. The everyday metric tee for return, drain and pilot work on European machinery.

Thread Standards

• Metric Light (L) Male – DIN 2353 / ISO 8434-1 24° cone, light series. It seals on the 24° cone, normally with an O-ring captured in the cone.

How to Choose

• All three ports are the same size and thread, so it does not matter which way the tee goes in.
• Light (L) is the lower rated metric range. Check the circuit before using it on a pump line.
• L and S share some thread sizes and the cones differ, so go by the series on the tube nut.

Technicians Advice

Small metric cones seal at low torque and are ruined not far past it. Bring each of the three up until the cone loads and stop. If one weeps after that, the fault is that cone face, not the torque.
