Metric Light (DKOL) Hose Tail and Ferrule Build Kit – Two Piece Crimp-On

Metric 24° cone light series swivel tails – DKOL – with the matching two-piece ferrules. The hose end European and Asian machinery was built with, boxed so you can make hoses instead of ordering them one fitting at a time. Three pack sizes.

Material: Plated carbon steel tails and ferrules. Suits 1 and 2 wire braided hose (SAE 100R1/100R2, EN853 1SN/2SN).

Thread Standards

• Metric 24° Cone Light Series Female Swivel (DKOL) – ISO 12151-2 / DIN 20078. Seals on the 24° cone against the tube nipple – thread stays dry.

• Fleet – full size coverage with depth.
• Light or heavy series? Same metric thread can carry either cone. Measure the seat – see Technicians Advice – or bring the old fitting in.

Technicians Advice

The trap with metric is light versus heavy series: the nut can spin onto the wrong one, but the cone geometry is different and the joint will weep from day one. If the nut threads on but the cone sits proud or rattles, you have the wrong series – stop and measure. Everything in this kit is light series (DKOL). As always with two-piece crimps: mark insertion depth, crimp to the chart, vernier twice at 90 degrees.
