Metric 24° cone heavy series swivel tails – DKOS – with the matching two-piece ferrules. The high-pressure metric hose end on European excavators, cranes and hammer circuits. Three pack sizes from tailgate to fleet workshop.

Material: Plated carbon steel tails and ferrules. Suits 1 and 2 wire braided hose (SAE 100R1/100R2, EN853 1SN/2SN).

Thread Standards

• Metric 24° Cone Heavy Series Female Swivel (DKOS) – ISO 12151-2 / DIN 20078. Heavier cone wall than light series, rated for high-pressure circuits. Seals on the 24° cone – no tape, no sealant.

• Fleet – full coverage plus depth on fast movers.
• Hammer, breaker or crane circuit on a Euro machine? It is almost certainly heavy series – check before you crimp.

Technicians Advice

Heavy series exists because the circuit needs it – do not substitute a light series tail on a breaker or hammer line just because the nut fits. The lighter cone wall is the weak point and it fails at the worst moment. Everything in this kit is heavy series (DKOS). Mark insertion depth before crimping, crimp to the chart diameter, and vernier the ferrule at two points 90 degrees apart.
