How to choose
- Size is the bolt or stud thread diameter – an M12 banjo bolt takes the 12mm seal.
- Banjo bolts take one seal each side of the banjo eye – order two per bolt.
- BSP fitting? Head to the BSP Dowty seals listing.
- Odd size in between? Measure the bolt shank and call us.
Technicians Advice
On banjo fittings the seal each side of the eye does all the work – if a banjo weeps after service, nine times out of ten someone reused the old seals or only replaced one side. Fit new seals both sides every time, clean the faces, and torque the bolt properly: a loose banjo frets the seals out in days.
