The M+S RW Series is a Geroler wheel motor: the mount is a wheel flange and the shaft is a 35mm 1:10 taper, so the hub bolts straight on with no coupling, no chain and no bearing housing to build. Nine displacements from 50 to 400cc, up to 610 Nm continuous torque. Made in Europe.
Standard supply is the 35mm tapered shaft on a wheel 4-bolt mount, side ports 1/2 inch BSPP, case drain 1/4 inch BSPP, 175 bar maximum continuous inlet pressure. Two alternative shafts and a check-valve shaft seal option are configurable below.
| Displacement (cc) | Rotor width L1 (mm) | Max cont. speed (rpm) | Max cont. flow (L/min) | Max cont. pressure drop (bar) | Max cont. torque (Nm) | Weight (kg) |

Maximum continuous inlet pressure is 175 bar on every displacement. Figures above are continuous ratings; intermittent and peak ratings are higher and available on request.
Specify the check-valve shaft seal (code UK) if the machine ever goes downhill under its own weight. On an overrunning load the wheel drives the motor instead of the other way round, the motor becomes a pump, and case pressure spikes. The shaft seal is the weakest part in the housing and it is the first thing to let go. The check valves vent the case to whichever main port is at low pressure at that instant, so the seal never sees the spike. On a flat-floor scrubber you can skip it. On anything with a ramp or a slope, fit it — it costs a fraction of a seal replacement plus the downtime.
With the 200 bar seal fitted this motor can run without a separate drain line up to 150 rpm. Above 150 rpm run the case drain back to tank on its own line, straight to the tank, never teed into a pressurised return.
The wheel mount does not remove the need to think about load. A wheel motor carries the wheel loads through its own bearings, so check the radial and axial figures against the machine weight and the wheel offset before you commit. If the numbers are marginal, an external bearing hub with an SAE A motor behind it is the more durable build — talk to us and we will work it through with you.
All three shafts are the same price, so choose on what the hub already is, not on cost. The 35mm 1:10 taper is the common wheel-motor standard; the 32mm straight keyed suits a bolted hub; the 1.1/4 inch 1:8 taper matches older imperial hubs.
If you need UNF ports rather than BSPP, the MLHRW model covers that. Ask us for a price.
On commissioning, fill the motor with fluid and run it at moderate load for five to ten minutes before putting it to work. A dry start on a Geroler element is the single most common cause of a motor that never reaches its rated life.
All M+S Hydraulic motors supplied by hydraulic.online are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Warranty applies to motors operated within published specification limits using clean, compatible hydraulic fluid. To ensure best motor life, fill casing with fluid with fluid and run at moderate load for 5–10 minutes before applying full load.
We ship hydraulic components across Australia from warehouses in Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia. Because we sell solid steel components — cylinders, pumps, motors, fittings, and hose assemblies — freight costs reflect real weight and real distance. We do not hide freight costs in inflated product prices. What you see is what you pay.
Hydraulic components are manufactured from solid steel. A single cylinder, pump, or motor can weigh 6–150 kg depending on the product. Freight costs vary by product weight, dimensions, and your delivery location. We have negotiated the best available carrier rates for our volume and absorb a portion of freight cost on every order.

Out of Stock: It is our intention to maintain active stock on every listed item at all times. On rare occasions, due to high demand or supply constraints, a size may be temporarily unavailable. If this occurs, you will be notified immediately and offered the choice of a full refund or a short wait for incoming stock — typically 3 to 14 days.
