JIC Flared Cap and Plug Kit - 16 Sizes, 400+ Pieces in Carry Case
Red plastic threaded caps and plugs to suit 37° flared JIC fittings, plus threaded flat face O-ring plugs, 16 sizes and over 400 pieces in a compartment carry case. Knurled caps and ribbed plugs fit by hand and protect the flare seat and threads while hoses and adaptors are off. Pick it up below and it ships from Australian stock.

How to choose
- US-built excavators, skid steers and ag machinery run JIC: this is the kit for them.
- Measure the thread OD: 7/16" is -4, 9/16" is -6, 3/4" is -8, 7/8" is -10, 1-1/16" is -12, 1-5/16" is -16.
- Mostly BSP gear: take the BSP kit instead.
Technicians Advice
The JIC seal is metal to metal on the 37° cone, there is no O-ring to save you. One scratch across that cone and the joint weeps forever. Cap every male JIC end and plug every swivel as the nut comes off, and never stand a fitting cone down on the concrete. Hand tight is plenty, and pull every plug before the machine runs.
