How to choose
- A cap covers a male thread; a plug fills a female port. Male thread showing = cap.
- Measure the male thread outside diameter and match it to the size column.

Technicians Advice
The cap swivel pulls the internal 37° seat onto the male flare – metal to metal, no sealant ever. Keep a handful in the van door: an open JIC port on a dusty job costs a contaminated system, and a cap costs a couple of dollars.
