How to choose

• Match the swivel to the hose or port size – a 1/2" hose line takes the 1/2" swivel.
• Fit the swivel at the end of the run where the twisting happens – usually the moving end.
• Rotation at a corner? The 90 degree version does both jobs in one fitting.
• High-speed continuous rotation (hose reels running all day)? Call us first.

Technicians Advice

A rotating swivel is there to take TORSION out of the hose, so put it where the twist happens – on the boom end, not the tank end. Fit it so the hose hangs in a single plane through its travel; if the hose still corkscrews through the arc, the swivel is on the wrong end of the run. These are for articulation, not continuous spinning – a motor-driven reel spinning all shift wants a dedicated rotary union, so ring us before you spec one for that.
