Technicians Advice

Screw-in 3/4-16 UNF cartridge valves – torque to the manifold spec (do not gorilla them; the cavity seals on the O-rings, not on brute force). Normally Closed holds the load until you energise the coil (fail-safe for lifting); Normally Open lowers until energised. Renew the O-ring kit whenever you pull one, and flush the system – grit under the poppet is the number-one cause of a valve that weeps or will not seat. Coils are ordered separately – match the voltage to your circuit.
