Technicians Advice

Clean oil is the cheapest insurance you will ever buy. The suction filter (strainer) protects the pump inlet – check the port thread and diameter match your tank. The return filter catches wear debris before it recirculates. Change the oil and clean/replace the strainer at the first service and then annually; a starved pump from a clogged strainer cavitates, gets noisy and dies early. Never run a compact unit without a filter fitted.
