Technicians Advice

The wired remote cord set gives you handheld control with a 3 m lead. The 2-button set suits single-acting circuits (up/down by gravity); the 4-button set drives double-acting (powered both ways). Keep the plug and glands sealed against water, route the cable clear of pinch points and hot surfaces, and do not extend the lead with light-gauge wire – voltage drop makes the solenoids chatter. A spare cord set lives well in the toolbox.
