Hose Tail – Tube-Weld Female – Straight – Two-Piece Crimp-On

A two-piece crimp-on assembly is two separate parts: this tail (the stem) and a ferrule that crimps over the hose. The ferrule is not included. You need one ferrule per tail.

We sell them separately on purpose. Several different ferrule styles will fit, and the right one depends on the hose you are crimping onto, not just the size:

• FS‑R2 Multi‑Fit – 1‑wire, 2‑wire, M3K and MXT braided hose. One series covers the lot, so most jobs take this.
• FS‑R7 – thermoplastic 100R7 hose. Different outside diameter and crimp figure to braided hose.
• FS‑R14 – PTFE 100R14 hose with stainless braid.

Thread Standards

• Tubeweld Female (weld-on socket) – plain-bore socket sized to a tube OD, joined by welding rather than a thread, has no seal of its own – the weld is the joint, so the tube must be clean, square and correctly prepared

How to Choose

• A straight tail is the default. Only go to a bend when the hose would otherwise leave the port at an angle it does not like.
• The mating half is welded to the tube, so confirm the seat form on the existing weld end before ordering.
• Seals on the mating seat, not on the thread.

Technicians Advice

Clean the welded half properly before assembly. Weld spatter and scale on a sealing seat will cut the mating cone and leave you chasing a leak that has nothing to do with the new hose.
