A metric banjo eye on a straight crimp tail, for tight ports where the hose has to swing to whatever angle the routing needs.

A two-piece crimp-on assembly is two separate parts: this tail (the stem) and a ferrule that crimps over the hose. The ferrule is not included. You need one ferrule per tail.

We sell them separately on purpose. Several different ferrule styles will fit, and the right one depends on the hose you are crimping onto, not just the size:

• FS‑R2 Multi‑Fit – 1‑wire, 2‑wire, M3K and MXT braided hose. One series covers the lot, so most jobs take this.
• FS‑R7 – thermoplastic 100R7 hose. Different outside diameter and crimp figure to braided hose.
• FS‑R14 – PTFE 100R14 hose with stainless braid.

Thread Standards

• Metric Banjo (eye fitting) – a drilled metric banjo eye that a banjo bolt passes through, seals on a bonded washer either side of the eye, squeezed by the bolt – two washers, not one

How to Choose

• The banjo eye rotates a full 360°, so you set the hose angle on assembly rather than ordering a fixed bend.
• Seals on two bonded washers, one either side of the eye, against the bolt head and the port face.
• Order the matching banjo bolt and washers with it – the eye alone will not seal.

Technicians Advice

New washers both sides, every time, and hold the eye where you want it while the bolt comes up. Banjos are the fitting technicians most often re-fit with old crush washers, and that is why they weep.
