Burst Protection Sleeve For Hydraulic Hoses
Sizes 18mm up to 110 mm
Our sizing is measured round/tube & measured across ID
Burst Sleeve is required on most mining sites in Australia and with good reason. Pin-prick bursts in hydraulic lines result in fine, high-velocity streams of oil which can easily puncture the skin causing an oil injection injury
This ensures that a hose failure is still visible to the operator and gives them the opportunity shut the machine down safely, minimizing the risk of injury to workers and damage to the machine.
The protective sleeving has received Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) approval for flame resistance. Approval numbers IC-319/1 and IC-319/2.
75,000 cycles and maintains its excellent flame retardant and
anti-static properties.
ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY
When tested in accordance with ISO 8031, the protective sleeving achieves excellent results, well below one mega ohm per meter
great product that meets all requirements and keeps you safe
