How They Arrive

• Individually boxed – each coupler in its own box rather than loose in a bag, so threads and sealing faces arrive undamaged.
• Blue dust caps included and already fitted to both halves inside the box. Nothing to order separately, nothing to lose in transit.
• Ready to fit out of the box, and the caps are reusable to keep the couplers clean whenever they are parked off the machine.

Coupling Standard

• ISO 16028 – the flat face interchange standard. Any ISO 16028 coupler of the same body size will mate with this one regardless of brand.
• 1/2" BSPP parallel port – BSPP to ISO 228, written G. It seals on a bonded washer or cone against the port face, not on the thread.
• 1/2" body – body size sets the flow capacity, not the thread size.
• Push‑to‑connect with a safety sleeve lock – one hand to connect, and the lock prevents accidental disconnection under vibration.
• Hardened sleeve and nipple – resistant to brinelling and mechanical shock, with minimal pressure drop.

How to Choose

• Match the thread on your machine, not the hose. A 1/2" BSPP parallel port takes this set.
• Check the body size, not just the thread. A 3/8" body fitted with a 1/2" thread is a smaller coupler and will not flow the same.
• To confirm without a chart: a 1/2" BSPP parallel male thread measures about 20.9mm across the outside of the thread, at 14 threads per inch.
• Both halves must be the same standard and body size. A flat face will not mate to a poppet or ball type coupler.

Technicians Advice

Relieve the circuit before you connect. Trapped pressure behind the male will stop the valve seating and no amount of force on the collar will pull it home – crack a fitting or cycle the lever to bleed it off first. Wipe both faces with a clean rag before every connection: the flat face is the whole point of the design, and one bit of grit pressed into the seal will have it weeping. Pull the locking sleeve straight back to release rather than levering it sideways, and put the dust caps back on the moment the halves come apart.
