Coupling Elements (Spiders) & Damping Rings

Replacement flexible elements for series 0-6 jaw couplings, in standard rubber and high-torque polyurethane, plus noise-damping rings for electric motor drives.

Remember - a complete drive needs four parts: bellhousing + motor-side half + pump-side half + rubber element. This listing covers one of them; the others are linked below.

How to Choose

Element series matches your coupling halves (0/2/3/4/5/6).
Rubber (shore 87) is the standard, quiet choice. Polyurethane (shore 92) for higher torque, shock loads and hot environments.
Damping rings sit between motor flange and bellhousing - up to 5dB noise reduction, pick by motor frame.

Technicians Advice

The element is the sacrificial fuse of the drive - inspect it yearly through the access hole. Torn lobes mean misalignment or undersized series, not bad rubber. Replace with the machine locked out; never run metal-to-metal even briefly. Keep a spare element with the machine - it is the cheapest part of the drive and the only one that wears.
