How to choose
- Count what you actually need to connect – if it is only three lines, a tee is the cleaner choice.
- All four ports are the same size on these crosses; use reducing bushes to step individual ports.
- Pick BSPT or NPT to match your system – they are not interchangeable.

Technicians Advice
Tapered threads seal on the thread itself – use liquid thread sealant or PTFE tape, but keep the first two threads bare so tape shreds cannot enter the system. A cross full of plumbing puts real side load on the joint: support the pipe runs rather than letting the cross carry the weight, and plug any spare port with a matching tapered plug, not a parallel one.
