How to choose
- A cap covers a male thread; a plug fills a female port. Male thread showing = cap.
- Measure the male thread outside diameter and match it to the size column.

Technicians Advice
The cap seals on the 60° cone inside the swivel nut, not the thread – no tape, no sealant. Run it up by hand, then a firm nip with a spanner. If the male cone is bruised or scored the cap will weep at pressure; dress the cone or treat the cap as dust protection only.
