BSP Parallel Male Countersunk Plug

Internal-hex countersunk plugs for BSPP ports – they sit flush with the face, ideal for manifolds and anywhere a hex head would foul.

Ways to buy:

  • Off the shelf – pick your size from the dropdown below and it’s on its way.
  • Need the matching cap? See our BSP Swivel Female Cap listing.
  • Blanking a whole machine? The made-up kits are better value – see the button below.
  • Need a size you can’t see? Call us – if it exists, we can get it.

How to choose

  • A plug fills a female port or fitting; a cap covers a male end. Male thread showing = you need a cap; open hole = you need a plug.
  • Measure the thread outside diameter and match it to the size column – the dash number in brackets is the thread size in 1/16ths of an inch.
  • Not sure which thread standard you have? Grab the thread identification chart below or call us with a photo.

Technicians Advice

Countersunk plugs drive with an Allen key and finish flush, which also makes them tamper-resistant. In alloy manifolds go easy on torque – the internal hex gives you more leverage than the thread wants. A dab of liquid sealant on the thread beats tape here: tape shreds can jam the small hex recess.
