A 316 stainless JIC 37° female cap. Blanks off an open JIC male end so no dirt gets in and no oil gets out, and it will not rust onto the thread.

Thread Standards

• JIC 37° Swivel Female – SAE J514 37° flare seat. Seals on the cone and swivels, so the hose is never wound up during assembly.

How to Choose

• Size by the JIC male thread you are capping.
• The cap seals on the 37° cone. No tape or sealant.
• Keep a set on hand for any job where hoses come off.

Technicians Advice

Cap every open JIC end the moment a hose comes off. It takes seconds and it is the cheapest dirt control you will ever buy. On a stainless system in a washdown area, a stainless cap also stops the wash water getting in, and it will not rust onto the thread the way a plated cap can.
