How to Choose

• Size by the BSP thread of the bulkhead fitting.
• Use one nut each side of the panel.

Technicians Advice

Use two lock nuts on a bulkhead fitting, one each side of the panel, and hold the body with a spanner while you tighten them. Match the nut to the fitting: stainless on stainless. A zinc-plated nut on a 316 body in salt air is the part that corrodes, and a loose bulkhead fitting chafes its hose through.
